Anne-Claire
Junior Manager – Events
- My role involves the daily management and running of Standalone Farm from an operational point of view, with my main focus being the events programme.
- My favourite thing about working at the Farm is the diversity that comes with the role, I can be organising a birthday party one day and the next be helping with the bottle feeding of the lambs. I also love that it’s a mix of being indoor and outside.
- Favourite animal: Posey the pony.

Junior Manager – Retail
- I order all the fun shop stock for the farm and ensure the daily operations are organised and running smoothly.
- Favourite animal: Is one of our lovely cows!
Amelia
Crew
- I help with the daily running of the customer facing operations- ticket sales, food and drink preparation in the café, general cleaning and tidying around the farm. I also host birthday parties and supervise events including arts and crafts, and animal handling.
- I love that everyday can present different things and you get to enjoy the fresh air and animals. The staff are all friendly, even the farmers, we are a close-knit bunch. Also, the regulars are lovely to have a natter with!
- Favourite animal: The cows! I see them as gentle beings and I’m obsessed with their ‘sandpaper’ tongues and slimy noses!

- Day to day I get involved with making coffee and other odd jobs.
- I love seeing how excited the children are to visit the Farm!
- Favourite animal: The goats.
